Good morning!
My name is Aviva Porres. I was born at 6:28am est on December 5, 2005, just as the sun was rising, and I weigh 7lb 7oz. I'm very cute.
Mom is doing great. She delivered au natural, sans painkillers (see, I already know French).
Dad is dad. He was supportive during delivery, but didn't have to push like mom.
Aunt Elizabeth (doctor in training) fed mom some ice chips and gave her a bit of grade A O2 when she needed it.
The doctor made reference to birth like this as something like Civil War battlefield births and offered mom a stick to chew on.
One nurse commented that mom's screaming was the origin of "blood-curdling" screams from scary movies. As a result, I may be a bit deaf for a while, but I guess my full head of hair will cover up the hearing aid.
