A friend of mine from the interactive industry and I were once riffing on what it would take to start a site or even a cable channel called "The Happy Channel" which would feature feel-good news, because let's face it, there actually IS feel-good news out there but it's cast off to the sidelines in favor of sensationalist journalism.
For this channel, my top story of the week would be this one (includes video), about Jason McElwain, an autistic high-school senior from Rochester, NY who was put into the last home game of his high school's basketball team, and went en fuego, scoring 20 points in 4 minutes.
