Between the turkey and the stuffing I managed to catch two movies this weekend that come out of Section 8, a production company started by George Clooney. They were Good Night, and Good Luck, and Syriana. If you want to be intellectually entertained this holiday season, I could not recommend them more highly. In particular, for Syriana, it’s not that the movie is saying anything new per se, it’s the way it’s told that is so fascinating. And the parallels between Good Night and Good Luck, albeit set in the 50′s, could not be more prescient then they are today.
